Jitney is a form of "pick up curling". This league focuses on meeting members, having fun and enjoying the sport of curling. Playing space is determined on the number of people that show up on any given day on a first come, first served basis. This league is an individual sign-up, open format with any combination of men and women based on attendance. Arrive 20 minutes before game time to sign in and provide your preferred position. This will allow the League Manager to assign teams and for you to dress fo your game.

Full Members are eligible to play in all Jitney's. Based on first come, first served basis.

Evening Jitney Members select Evening Jitney's as their league choice. This membership type & league has been created for the occasional curler that cannot commit to weekly leagues due to a busy schedule. Based on a first come, first served basis.

LEAGUES FOR INDIVIDUALS - Individual Sign Up.

Each league plays three draws (rounds) of approximately eight weeks. Teams are created by the League Manager for each draw. Scores are recorded for each game, and the top teams are declared for each draw.

Each member must register. The focus is on friendly competiition. The champion men's and women's teams will represent the CCC at the Curling Club Championship.

YOUTH LEAGUE - Individual Sign Up. For ages 13 - 18

Must be at least 13 years old by December 31, 2026. Includes one Jitney League and one additional league. Youth are also invited to register for the Junior Instructional Program Sunday 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.

CORPORATE LEAGUE - Team Sign Up.

Corporate Curling is offered to teams of four or more players on Wednesday nights. Sign up as a team through your business by contacting Rebecca Alexander at corporatecurling@collingwoodcurlingclub.ca

Junior Instructional is offered Sunday mornings 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. Must be at least 8 years old by December 31, 2024 Contact Mariane McLeod at memberprograms@collingwoodcurlingclub.ca

WHEELCHAIR PROGRAM - Individual Sign Up.

The Wheelchair Program is offered on Sunday from 3pm to 5pm. We practice for 15 minutes then divide into two teams and play six ends, keeping score. Volunteers will assist in delivery methods. No equipment is required and there is no cost. All ages, all genders. All participants get a chance to play - we are truly Breaking Down Barriers.
